08/27/08- In case you missed it, Eric May has verballed to play Basketball for the University of Iowa!!!!!

Congrats Mr. May, and welcome to the Hawkeyes!!!!!

Sorry for the delay in information.

Eric was a Junior at Dubuque Wahlert last year. Dubuque Wahlert won the Iowa Class 3A championship.

They only won it last year, but won in dramatic fashion. Eric hit a last second 3 point heave to win the State Championship.

Earlier last season, May hit another buzzer beater to beat Iowa City West. Video below:

May shows great athletic ability and obviously is proving to be a clutch player.

Last year the Golden Eagles went 25-3. On their way to state they defeated Bishop Heelan, staring Iowa commit Brennan Cougill, in a playoff game.

May averaged 18pts. and 6reb. per game last year.

Eric also starts at QB for the Golden Eagles Football team.
