Roosevelt Rough Riders Ht.-6'9'' Wt.-225lbs.

10/01/2008-Congrats to Larson and the Hawkeyes!!!!!! Cody Larson made a verbal commitment to play for Coach Lickliter and the Iowa Hawkeyes over the weekend.

Sorry for the delay in information. I was aware of the commitment, however have been way to busy to update.

Cody visited the Iowa Campus back on September 6th and was impressed to the point where he made a surprise visit to Iowa over the weekend. And what a great surprise for Coach Lickliter and the Hawkeyes. Below is an article from the ArgusLeader.com about Cody and his commitment to Iowa:

Cody will be a Junior at Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, SD. The Roosevelt Rough Riders went 18-8 last season. Larson avereaged 10 points and 7 rebounds a game as a Sophomore.

Of note, Cody had a 3.5 grade point average last year.

Cody is a Forward that possesses many intangible skills. According to reports from fellow Hawk fans, Cody is now 6'9'' and has added on some pounds. He is now estimated to be 225lbs.

Per the site, Cody averaged 14 points 8 rebounds and 3 assists per game over the summer playing for the Dakota Schoolers.
